Changing Landscape of Education

Interesting Article about the rocky but powerful transition from Brick and Mortar to Virtual Schools.

This is all moving faster than I thought it would considering how many states and schools there are operating. Its sad but not surprising this has to be done in opposition rather than somehow in cooperation with Teachers Unions. I can see how teachers feel threatened by it but I really do believe their time with students can be made so much more fulfilling that the current structure.

I also would have expected more change at the university level than K-12 but from this summary thats not the case.
